Lukasz Fabianski will start against Spurs as Alphonse Areola has a groin injury. Centre-back Nayef Aguerd has returned to training on Monday and could feature on Tuesday.

Kalvin Phillips is a human being and needs support not criticism. We need our fans to give all our players the support they require. Kalvin's a really good player and I do believe we can still make something out of the time we've got with him here.

They have done well this season, so it's going to be a difficult game. The manager Ange Postecoglou has been effective, but we believe in ourselves and we'll try to reproduce the performance we put in against them in December.

It wasn't a big decision to make him captain. I felt like we needed to change in most things to show the direction. I felt he was such a natural fit, he's been a leader in his national team. Sometimes when you officially get the title it can weigh heavily but his performances this year have been outstanding and if anything it's taken him to a new level.

He was an important signing. It's fair to say he's made an impact in just about every game. He'd probably like more goals but he's an important part of our structure and I thought he was really good on the weekend and in the last few games. I do think there's more improvement as he understands our game more.
…ABOUT TEAM
We want to finish the season strong and keep building the foundation. Hopefully in 12 months time people will look at and talk about us differently, and that's not just about where you finish and how many points you get.
