Transfer Market

I'd love it if we could get the players early so I can go home after practice, put my feet up and get ready for the Everton game. I hope things go like this. I'm happy with [the team] at the moment. Good actors and characters. We have to [just] get stronger to give ourselves the best chance. We need more, we want more, but we're happy with what we've done so far.

Everton

We want to win. What happens at other clubs is irrelevant. Our job isn't about a story or a narrative, it's about what's in front of it. It's a tough game and a game we want to win. It's a different game than City, but no less challenging. We build what we want to be by facing different types of competitors.

Beto

He looked exactly how we hoped he would look - physical presence, ball movements and running backwards. His body language and intent were important. It gave good signals to continue improving.

Everton's Performance

We played well in two of the three games, but we have to be much better on both sides of the game to make the easy stuff work.

Sheffield United

They are a team that works hard to get where they came from. Newcomers and their fans will be behind them in the match. We'll see what we can do to perform well.
