Meeting Highlights…TEAM SHAPE UP
Having a full week is a lot. Although we are happy that the cups are starting again, hoping they will last as long as possible. We worked on our physical condition and on our game ideas. We pushed hard and the boys responded well with their heads and legs. The new signings? They will bring quality, in positioning without the ball and in football. I really like this. The inclusion after three days is what it is.

I made three changes, the maximum we were allowed. I gave priority to the formation to have double roles. For this reason I inserted Baldanzi and Angelino, but two were left out, which is why they paid Huijsen and Kristensen who are two players who I consider very important. They will play in the future, but it is a choice I had to make.

I have a great bond with him. I went through the two most emotional moments in my history: the year we came close to winning the Scudetto and my last months as a footballer at Roma. He accompanied me when we said goodbye to our favourite team. When you spend these moments with someone like him it's always a great gain. He has a sharp intelligence. You always come away enriched by a chat with him. I feel sincere affection for Ranieri.
