...INJURY REPORT

The closest player to coming back would be Tino Livramento, he has not trained with the team but has been out on the grass. Lewis Hall has not trained at all this week, so he is a slight concern from last week. Other players are doing well in the background so I am hoping in the not-too-distant future we can get three or four back. Joe has been to see another specialist to check on the progress of his Achilles, which has been problematic for him. The feedback was positive. For Tottenham, I don’t think he will be available for us. We need to make sure the long-term prognosis for him is positive so he may need some rest.

...SELF CRITICISM

It wasn’t a great performance at Fulham, but we were dogged and determined. I thought it was a big step forward, not playing too well but finding a way to score and win the game. We haven’t been able to do that enough this season, find a way to win games like that.

...TOTTENHAM

I admire them tactically; I admire them physically. A lot of credit must go to Ange for the job he has done and the philosophy he has implemented. I think they have played very well this year. I have had it rarely in my career where at every chance you score. We were confident, had good rhythm and our finishing that day was lethal. We are always trying to work towards that and build connections to make a performance like that.

...RICHARLISON STILL OUT

Yeah, he'll miss this week. He is close but with the weekend off next week, we feel and with the last two rounds stacked with games for us, we feel having him ready for that is more important, but he's progressing quite well.

...NEWCASTLE UNITED

When I watch them, particularly at home, they’re still a very, very good side. I think the crowd gives them a lot of energy irrespective of who they put out there, and the games, irrespective of who they play against, tend to be fairly high tempo because of the energy in the stadium. So we’re going to have to match that energy tomorrow, it’s the way we like to play our football as well. Hopefully by bringing our own energy to it we can overcome the challenge, it’s going to be a tough one.

...HOJBJERG'S PERFORMANCE

He was good. He has not started as many as he probably would have liked, but he has done a good job for us. We are in a good place where I can make these changes within games. Pierre particularly with his passing range, I thought we could use it to start working and switching the flanks. And it worked well.
