We are continuing to grow compared to last year and Pessina's copycat goals in Genoa are proof of this. We are proud of our journey and aware that it was not easy. Because confirming yourself is always more difficult than asserting yourself.

A healthy team arrives and they have a very warm crowd. From my point of view they are difficult to deal with. I know Mister Ranieri and his playing principles well. History speaks for him, personally I have good memories with the coach. A coach is respected and there is always something to learn. Cagliari is in the best moment of the season and the dangers for Monza are just around the corner. I expect and want proof of temperament and personality from my team.

Gagliardini returns while Caprari is not yet back in the team. As for Popovic, I hope to give him space between now and the end of the season. Very good boy, he had difficulty learning Italian but Djuric helped him a lot. We preferred to give him playing time in the spring because being out for 8 months isn't easy.

I expect a Monza that knows how to change during the match. I'm not the creator, the players are the creators. I say first what could happen and people appreciate this. We rose to Serie A thanks to the fans and we will remain there until thanks to them. I thank them, it's not easy to find a fan base that stands behind you in difficult times. First he played with the 3-4-2-1, then he changed but they know how to do many things and change often. I expect Monza to be up to par, against Genoa they managed to react and win the match.

We expected a little more from the new players we signed, it's a shame. The choices must be carefully evaluated, when you change so many players it doesn't mean you get them all right. We had a good purchasing campaign.
