...MARCUS IS MOTIVATED

I think lately his form is progressing and so the time will always be right. I think he has a big motivation because he wants to be successful with us. He wants to score goals but he wants to win trophies and contribute and we still have a chance in the FA Cup. He wants to fight for a Champions League spot and the Euros are coming so I will say his motivation should be high. And the form, that is a moment and he can change the momentum always. Before Brentford, he scored three goals in three games.

...TOP FOUR WILL BE TOUGH

In this week we drop in stoppage time five points and it is very expensive. The points are getting very expensive because the games are running out and we know that. We have to catch up and we are now many points behind. It will be difficult but we will keep fighting and I am sure that you see our team, they have character. Today we have seen an example as well. They are resilient and I am sure they will be there on Sunday in the fight against Liverpool.

...PREPARATION

For me personally? I have to manage the game and I have to manage the team. You have seen we have qualities. We have some great players. We can be in momentum and we can play at very high standards. We have seen today an example and we have seen against Liverpool. We can compete with the best and we can beat the best teams in the Premier League. And when you beat them in the Premier League, you can beat them across Europe. But we need to learn how to win games - how you bring big games over the line and get the three points. Saturday was an example, today was an example. We have to step up and we have to make better decisions individually and as a team.

LAST DEFEAT

We will see on Sunday how to beat Liverpool. But I have to say first I have to deal with this, but we can’t deal with this long. We have to recover very quick. We have to turn this around. So from Friday on we will be in a positive mood. We will be looking forward. We have to take energy but we will be mad, angry. From anger you can take a lot of energy and that is how we have to do it.

...TITLE RACE

That's obviously how it is in the Premier League. Tell me a different race? We became champions in 2019-20 and it was obviously decided pretty early, otherwise probably Manchester City as well here or there, but most of the time they were tight races and it looks like a tight race. So, if it's a tight race then the best place you can be is in it. We are in it and that's cool, that's good. And now let's keep fighting, that's how it is.

...ABOUT MATCH

Obviously the next one is the big one, like they all are. Somebody said we had the best fixture list or schedule; I looked at it and I really don't know how you can have had that idea, maybe I'm too negative but it's a tough one, good opponents. But we are ready and we want to be in that fight, so let's see what we can make of it.

...FA CUP DEFEAT

The story of the game, we spoke after the game about it – they started better, then we took over and we were really good that day but we didn't finish the situations off in extra-time. The good news is we will not have twice 15 minutes [of] extra-time. That was too much for us that day, we couldn't control it anymore and made mistakes we didn't make before at all. And United turned the game around. United is a top side playing at home, we all know that. But we cannot just tell. Let's do what we did from minute 15 to, I don't know, 70-something. Football is not that easy. We have to find a way to cause United problems and they will try exactly the same. On that level, with this opponent, in this stadium, we better play a really good football game, to be honest, if we want something there.
