Meeting Highlights5-3 Girona Defeat
We did everything wrong in Girona. We didn't have the ball, we didn't defend well and we didn't do anything offensively. There's not much to explain, we weren't comfortable. Even though we performed well in the first few minutes, the first goal let us down. A foul, we thought it wasn't fair and it affected us emotionally the wrong way. Shortly after, the penalty came and the team lost its way. We tried to deal with the score at 4-1 at half-time, but it was too late.
Team Mood
The team turned the page. Everyone wants to play against Barcelona and they are motivated. I don't even need to motivate them for games like this. I take it for granted that the team will come out thinking of winning the game, because we have not yet given joy to the fans in Son Moix.
Barcelona
They suffered in Getafe and in the last game against Celta. Taking other teams as an example, we tried to design something to counter them. It will be difficult because they did not lose, they are in shape. They made a great team with Cancelo and Joao Félix. We'll see if we're up to the task.

Mallorca is a tough opponent. They have a lot to offer defensively and work very well for each other. They are very strong physically and have direct attacking players like Muriqi and Darder. And this won't be an easy away trip against a team looking to bounce back from a big loss to Girona.
Team Status
We are competing well and playing good football in general. But I still want to see more movement from my players and we need to attack the areas better. We can get a lot more out of these attacks, they need to work on their positions more. But even though we had a bad game against Celta, we are on the right track.
Missing Footballers
One of the best things about this group of players is their versatility. We have different types of players for different positions. Players who can adapt very well, such as Sergi Roberto, Gavi, João Cancelo, Gündoğan, João Félix, Kounde and Araujo. Both Pedri and Frenkie de Jong will not be able to play. These are big losses. But as I said, we have different players to fill these gaps.
