It’ll be a back and forth game. Second balls will be important and I’m expecting some fiercely fought duels and lots of set pieces which could decide the game. It will be a fight for every metre of the pitch.
…OUR TARGET
We still have nine, and hopefully eleven, games left. And we have a chance of achieving our aim. That’s what we’re focusing on, instead of being worried. The onus is only on us.

Manager on Bochum...INJURY REPORT
Michael Esser, Niclas Thiede, Mohammed Tolba as well as Moritz-Broni Kwarteng, Tim Oermann, Matus Bero and Christopher Antwi-Adjei are still out. The list is long enough. We are optimistic that Patrick Osterhage and Andreas Luthe will be there. The final decision will be made after the final training.
...SERIES OF DEFEAT
It's just a matter of losing games. It's now the first time we've lost three times in a row. Nevertheless, our basic situation has not changed much. We still have this cushion, but of course it's about starting to score again as quickly as possible. It's not like there's any sense of insecurity or doubt in our team. We are absolutely optimistic and that's how we go into the game against Mainz. We definitely want to go into the international break feeling successful.

We would be making a mistake if we only looked at the Mainz game against Bayern. In other games, Mainz did more than well. Their basic way of playing football has not changed. Even if he is now the third coach in the current season. The basic structure is the 3-4-3 formation, they are a very active team that attacks the opponent high and often plays one-on-one on the pitch. We know what's coming.
