Meeting Highlights…DERBY
The derby is always the derby, there are excellent feelings, we worked hard and well because tomorrow could be a special day for the whole Inter family. We still have training today and tomorrow to prepare in the best possible way and play a great derby. The stakes are very high, we have won the last 5 derbies and they have given us great joy, but those derbies will count for nothing tomorrow. It will count how we fare on the pitch, against the second-placed team playing at home and they will try to make the match very difficult for us.

I just have to thank the people who are with me, first of all the players and then my collaborators who have been with me for many years and have helped me a lot in this journey. Then a huge company behind us, starting from the President, Marotta, Ausilio, Baccin, Ferri and all the others, with whom we face the problems altogether to find the best solution. I don't forget anything about this whole journey, I think of the final in Istanbul, a beautiful moment but it was a defeat, or at San Siro against Sampdoria two years ago and the fans who dried our tears. Today there are many of us here and we will go and say hello to them. When you reach important goals it's thanks to everything. We are working well and very hard on the timing, if it will be better tomorrow, but for us it is not an obsession.

A perfect Lazio, we are going to the home of the strongest team in Italy who are playing beautiful and concrete football. They are the best team this year, they are doing a great job in planning and growth. We are going there to do our best , there are two races to go and six points still up for grabs, we need to establish the ranking from a European perspective and see which competition to participate in.

There is never a top, a coach always aspires to the best. There are important player choices, the characteristics of the players for a certain type of football are different from others. The important thing is to have strong players. The football played here in the last three years is different from how I see football. I also like having the ball, but there are definitely different distances. Sarri's football was still good and he achieved results, but in my football there are different distances and in this football there are players who adapt better. There is this diversity and this does not mean that these elements of the squad cannot also do well in this football. We must finish these last two games well then we will get to plan the next season, calmly and clearly, making the right choices. But first we need to finish well.
