...INJURY REPORT

In addition to the long-term injuries Elidon Qenaj and Thomas Keller, Marnon Busch, who has problems in his left knee, and Adrian Beck, with an ankle injury, are out.

...LEIPZIG

Leipzig is in top form. They have also won their last three away games. In their 4-2-2-2 system, they are strong in counter-pressing and run high. In addition, there is a very good switching game and the individual class. They are particularly dangerous on offense with players like Openda, Xavi, Olmo and Sesko. Danger also comes our way from the full-backs pushing up and their cross runs. We have to show a high level of defensive preparedness and want to pose problems for an opponent who is playing for the Champions League tomorrow.

...AGAINST THE TOP TEAMS

This season we got four points against Stuttgart, two points against Dortmund and three points against Bayern Munich. These teams are at the top of the table. Our aim before the season was to score points in every game through passionate and honest football. We know that we are able to compete against any opponent in the Voith Arena if we deliver the best possible performance. Nevertheless, we are the blatant outsiders tomorrow, but we will push ourselves to our limits to score points!

...RELEGATION BATTLE

We all want to continue playing in the Bundesliga next season. If we get another win we would have 37 points. That would mean staying in the league. Regardless of this, we will give everything until the last match day and not let up. We only celebrate after the season, when we have kept the class.

...INJURY REPORT

Yussuf Poulsen is still out due to a muscle injury in his left hamstring and is expected to return to training on Sunday. Christopher Lenz will miss Heidenheim with a calf problem. Xavi, Christoph Baumgartner and Kevin Kampl are available again for the Red Bulls after minor complaints during the week.

...FRANK SCHMIDT

The fact that he has been training Heidenheim since 2007 speaks for itself. There were certainly not only easy phases and they still stuck with the coach - and rightly so, that paid off. Now they play Bundesliga and will play Bundesliga next year.

...HEIDENHEIM

Heidenheim is an unpleasant opponent and is playing a great season as a promoted team. What has been built there over the years is overall very positive. They are a competitive team that makes things difficult for every opponent, regularly equalizes deficits at home and even turns things around - and always comes back, even against top teams. We were able to feel it first hand here in the first half of the season. They have the qualities to win games and survive in the Bundesliga. That's a tough task, but that's nothing new in the Bundesliga.
