...INJURY REPORT

As is well known, we have our two long-term injuries with Thomas Keller and Elidon Qenaj. Marnon Busch is also not yet fit and will not be available. Yesterday Christian Kühlwetter suffered a small muscle stiffness. That’s why he most likely won’t be there.

...ABOUT THE MATCH

We want to win the game so that we can at least defend our single-digit position in the table. If something happens in the other places that works out in our favor, then we'll be happy to take it with us. This is an absolute all-or-nothing game for Cologne. It's about everything, it's about existence in the Bundesliga. I expect an absolutely high-intensity game with a determined opponent who will throw everything into it. They did that in the last few games and we have to be careful right into injury time.

…INJURY REPORT

Luca Waldschmidt and Max Finkgräfe are on the mend. We have to see if they are an option on Saturday. Mark has trained well all week, but I can't say yet whether he'll be enough for the starting eleven. But he will play a very important role. Dejo will return to the squad, but it is not yet clear whether he will start.

...ABOUT THE MATCH

We believe in it until the end. We want to do our homework and definitely win the game. The late win against Union gave us a boost. We'll take it with us to Heidenheim. We know that we think about many eventualities, but above all we know that we have to win our game.

…THE TEAM SPIRIT

I see the team, I see a unity. Every player, whether sick or injured, comes to training. The injured boys and those not in the squad were asked whether they would be allowed to go to Heidenheim; everyone wanted to be there. This will in the team makes me extremely positive. We’ll fight until the last second.
