…INJURY REPORT

Jarrad Branthwaite, midfielder Idrissa Gueye and striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin all trained on Friday and should be involved against Nottingham Forest if they suffer no adverse reactions. Full-back Nathan Patterson's season is over as he needs surgery on a hamstring injury, putting into doubt his place for Scotland at this summer's European Championship.

…ABOUT THE MATCH

Since I have been here, every game is a must-win. That should be at every football club. I want that mentality from the players. We have spells when we have and haven't and we certainly haven't recently.

…PRESSURE

The noise around here is so intense. Big badge, big club. I have got used to it. There are a handful of players who understand it differently. We have to start the process of correcting the story - this has been a really tough spell. Monday adds more fuel to the story. It is a constant work in process.

…ABOUT THE MATCH

It’s due to circumstances but it’s a game, very important for both clubs due to the situation we are in. We have been involved in similar situations, the deduction of points. We don’t know exactly how many points we have, both sides.

…AWAY MATCH

I know how strong they are at Goodison Park and how hard it is going to face them. It’s going to be a tough game. Part of the plan is to play well, control and dominate the game. If that happens the crowd gets silenced. We have to be ready. There will be moments when we don’t have the ball and the crowd will get loud. We have to be strong in those moments.

…INJURY REPORT

Taiwo Awoniyi remains out with a thigh injury with Willy Boly also sidelined but Anthony Elanga could return. The same players are out. Boly is out but we are recovering. There are issues but let’s see.
