I think we get rewards for staying committed to improvement. I told the team we needed to find a clearer view. We are a team still trying to move forward. I said there are some talented players here from the beginning.

Premier League Table

I'm not obsessed with the Premier League rankings at the moment. I really look at the season plan and the progress so far. I was wondering if we could move forward. Have you become a stronger team? You add up the results and you're definitely in a very good situation, and lately these situations have started to pay off for us.

Brighton

They are a very good team and they show. They have a healthy pool from which they make very good transfers. Even if they make mistakes, they progress by adding to the things they have been doing right for years. They're doing a scan covering the entire planet. We will face a really strong team.

Recent Run of Form

Brighton lost Caicedo, Mac Allister and Colwill. We are in seventh place in the table, competing in the Europa League. I could have been happy, I could have been satisfied with the performances at the beginning of the season. But no, it's not like that. I am not happy. We can compete stronger, everyone can do more. If we lose a player in the transfer market [and] we are competing in three competitions, it's okay. We are Brighton and we can play better. We have to push harder or we can change the target, but our target is high and we have to push and get more points. We have the potential to win more games.

Everton

I think it was different to the [last time] we won at Everton's stadium, there was a different team. It's completely different now. They have a different energy, a different style of play, they play very directly, they are a good team.
