...PREPARATION

We want to do our homework and just look at ourselves. We don't care what happens in other places. We have everything in our own hands. With a good game and a good result we can finally secure sixth place. Last week we took a big step because we really wanted to qualify for international business. Now we want to take the very last step. We have our luck in our hands tomorrow. We want to seize that.

...INJURY REPORT

Mario Götze and Robin Koch were on the pitch as usual and were able to take part in the training. I'm very confident about that. It may well be that we make one or two changes. We look at who fits better with which opponent.

...RODE AND HASABE

We will do everything we can to ensure that these two get what they deserve on Saturday. Everyone who plays from the start has a duty because we want to organise the game in such a way that it might be a little more relaxed for the two of them afterwards. I believe that the two of them can give us something sportingly even in a somewhat more delicate final phase. I'm looking forward to seeing them both again. This is a very emotional thing. Seppl already said a few words to the whole group during training today. We want to have a great finish tomorrow, including for these two.

…INJURY REPORT

Dani Olmo continues to suffer from muscular problems. He is not available against Eintracht Frankfurt. For Mohamed Simakan the game is still questionable due to muscular problems. David Raum is fit for Frankfurt and is in the squad. Christopher Lenz is training individually due to slight muscular problems and will be out against Frankfurt.

...CONTINUITY

It only works together. All employees are very ambitious and everyone wants to achieve important goals. We have played three finals in the last two years and won three finals. At the end of the season we realise that we are missing something. We did our job properly and won our first final of the season. We are all working in the same direction, we want to have a competitive squad next season. There were always phases in the season when we could have gone in a different direction. But unfortunately we weren't consistent enough, sometimes playing an outstanding half and sometimes a rather mixed one. In other words, we will turn over a few stones again to better implement this continuity in the coming year.

##... THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LAST MATCH

Sure, we can still have the most successful season in the club’s history, but after qualifying for the Champions League we realised that we were a bit out of steam. Some of the boys are now facing an important European Championship and we don't want to go beyond the limits. Nevertheless, tomorrow is an important game for the overall ranking, we want to get another win at the end. Maybe we'll send Eljif Elmas on the pitch longer. We can afford and allow that. We'll take Jonathan Norbye with us. He is a central defender for the U19s, although he could still play for the U17s. He simply deserves it. It’s an important sign for the young boys to further strengthen the connection.
