It will be a special game. Not just because of the table situation. Unfortunately, we received sad news this week; the death of Bernd Hölzenbein has shocked the entire Eintracht family. He was a special person and player, I was able to get to know him personally. At this point, too, my heartfelt condolences to the family and relatives. Of course, we really want to win this game in Bernd's honour. Friday is much less about content and tactical things. It's about emotionality, passion and intensity - we have to bring that to the pitch. We want to be clear from the start. These basics are the cornerstone and the key to playing football successfully. In order to get into a certain flow, it is primarily about good aggressiveness and activity. FC Augsburg will try to stress us out early. He does that well. We have to find the right solutions, not constantly combine at the back, but also make the game easier. We can expect a lot of physicality and a lot of duels; it will often be about second balls. We have to play a very running game, win those second balls and then play straight forward. We understand the importance of this game

In this phase of the season it's all about winning games. We have a huge opportunity to distance ourselves from an opponent that we let close. On Friday it's not about playing nicely, it's about scoring one more goal than the opponent. We have to do everything we can to achieve this. We have to defend our goal and really want to push the ball over the line. We haven't scored enough goals in the last few weeks. Everyone attacking together, everyone defending the goal together – everyone together. It's about points and showing that we want it more than the opponent.

Junior Dina Ebimbe is back after serving a suspension. Mario Götze and Ellyes Skhiri have reported back and are both candidates for the starting eleven. Hugo Ekitiké also had a very good week of training. Jean-Mattéo Bahoya had to slow down a bit after the game against Stuttgart and is not an option for Friday.

The team has self-confidence, the momentum is on our side – that gives us a good feeling. They are top team with a lot of individual quality. We want to win the game to avoid relegation. With a win against Frankfurt we can do it on our own.
