Meeting Highlights…INJURIES
We have lost all three of them, Ebere Eze, Michael Olise and Marc Guéhi. There is no question that it is a massive blow. In particular after the Sheffield United game, when we were really thinking we were going to be OK now we have got these guys back, and just the opposite has occurred. Furthermore Michael has picked up another serious injury which is absolutely devastating for him, for the club, for everyone really. Strangely enough, it was one of those situations where so many things went wrong that could have gone right, but we don’t have hindsight.

We’re in the business to coach a team to be the best team, but importantly to give the fans something they want to see and be proud of. When the fans turn, it’s the worst possible scenario.

What do we do? We make sure we get on with it, we make certain we do our best to prepare the team that are there to play, and you hope that some of them are going to come up and show elements of their play that we haven’t seen because they haven’t been given the chance up to now.

I think it's difficult to say that's the starting XI in my mind. Little by little we are recovering players, they need time to reach the level we expect from them. The way we train and the players behave, the attitude we are showing, we are improving.
…PERFORMANCE
I think before also we had some good performances and after that we were not consistent enough. Maybe it can be the starting point for us to be consistent and have more often this type of performance. I think the players deserve it because they have been working really hard from the beginning of the season. This type of result showed the talent, quality we have in our squad.
…ROY HODGSON
He is my friend, I admire him, he's an unbelievable coach. He is working really well. There's always the pressure when you lose one or two games in a row. There's no doubt he will be successful with Palace, hopefully after our game.
