Referee Criticisms

The Girona match has been a reference for many people. All teams can complain more or less, but I always mention that it's a marathon and if someone comes in and drops you, you get up and keep going, but if someone drops you every two or three kilometers it's impossible to get where you want. We all see this in Vigo, but after that game against Girona they already saw it at national level. The fans are aware and that's why they're so clear. If you fall, you have to keep going and think that you will make it eventually. We deserved more in 9 of the 11 games we played. This is past but it is reality. We're talking three, six, eight points. Where would we be with those points?

Sevilla

This is a special situation. They already had problems last year, they changed coaches twice and the last change went very well. Then, unfortunately, they changed again and that means they didn't find what they were looking for. They're a great team with great players, but they still can't find the ideal coach to pull it off. Let's hope Diego (Alonso) is like that, but after this game. We will try not to make mistakes and be as united and focused as possible to try to take advantage of what Sevilla can do.

Pressure to Win

We focus only on Celta Vigo. We know what we need to do for 90 minutes, then we can move on to next week. We are always expected to win, the expectation does not change in this respect. So we feel that, especially in these current circumstances. We could have won against Madrid, maybe in Cádiz too... Now we have to keep doing things right and make sure we get the three points we deserve.

Game Philosophy

At a club like Sevilla, no matter what the competition, you always think about winning. The demand is to win every game and always compete. It's also my job to know where we are and stay calm so we can build. Another thing is that willingness does not help you win. This is what I need to work on to ensure that our previous work helps the team become stronger come competition time.
