We tried to make a competing team and that's what happened before the season. There are two conditions in Spanish football: one where you can find situations that change the dynamics a little bit, and second, the financial control is different, which affects your decisions. The team is competitive and I am happy. There are many things that are missing but could change in fifteen days.

Osasuna is a good example of what we want to build. With a project like Real Sociedad, they got a solid team known in Europe. It will be a very difficult game.

We can have the illusion because the last season was so beautiful and so powerful. We have some uncertainty about how we got to the first game. You never know what you're missing until you have data to analyze and draw conclusions from. That's why football is great. I am excited and there is uncertainty to see how we face the first game. Last year, we learned how important the first game is. Winning and being able to play a good game boosts confidence and self-esteem. Progress becomes easier.

In our reviews, we saw a very different Celta from recent years. In the pre-season, they have been characterized, above all, by a tremendous defensive resilience. I think they got their new coach's opinion too quickly. They have a block that does things very well at the defensive level. We also know the ideas they have on offense.
