Meeting Highlights…LAST DEFEAT
We have nine injured players, the same as Bournemouth and also now Adam Lallana. After this type of defeat against Bournemouth, you have not to say anything else or anything more. I am lucky because my players are good people and they understand the moment is tough but we are still Brighton and we have to be able to win like last season and lose the game with pride and with the right attitude.
…ABOUT THE SEASON
It is the end of a tough season, we want to do something different, we wanted to fight to reach the Europa League again and compete in a different way in the last three months, but we have to accept it as part of football. Sometimes you want to do something different, something better. You want to make our fans happy but sometimes you're not able to do that. The problems we've had are clear for everyone.
…MOTIVATION
I spoke about motivation not because we want to go on holiday tomorrow or next week. When the target is not so close it is tough to accept for a team who is used to fighting for the important target. This season until the Brentford game, until maybe the Burnley game, we have had the chance to qualify for another year in the Europa League. I think after that we lost something of energy and of motivation.

Some players have small injuries from Thursday's Europa Conference League match with Olympiakos, but until Saturday it is impossible to know if they will be able to face Brighton. Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez could be available for Sunday but he has to see if he is comfortable and without risk.
…ABOUT THE MATCH
Firstly we have to focus again on the Premier League quickly. Afterwards, we will analyse the game we played yesterday. We need to be quick to analyse with the players the match we will face on Sunday with data analysis, characteristics of the team, individual players. As well, we need to recover quickly and full energy for Sunday. We want to grow up in Europe, playing Europa League and Champions League. I like it. The players have to adapt to that situation playing more matches than normal and then try to take experiences and manage those competitions and try to be successful in both. Our motivation of course is high because we are now fourth and it is a very important match to try to be closer to our first objective in the Premier League.

The respect for Roberto de Zerbi is high. He is an amazing coach, he was playing very well last year. This year they changed a lot of players and it is normal they need time again to get the same performances and be successful with their style. It is amazing how they play. I appreciate them a lot.
…CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
We are fighting with Tottenham for the Champions League. It is an amazing season if it finishes like that. We are growing up here as coaches, workers, players, supporters. We have to be demanding and trying to get stronger in everything. We have to create a strong mentality to keep for a long time.
