…ABOUT THE SEASON

Every year that you are in the Premier League is success for a club of our stature. I just hate saying it because we want so much more; we want to be assets to the league, we want to dream big, we want to do something special. I am an optimistic person, I want to dream big. You never want to settle for staying in the league, but the reality is it's a tough league and every year you do the minimum stay up, it is a success.

…OUR FOOTBALL

We are not Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool or a club of that size that competes for titles, so it's a different club. But there are so many good things here, so many structures, processes and people that make this the best possible place for a lot of people to work at. Ambition is how you can make the perfect club? How can we try to maybe win something? It's probably against the odds to win the title, but you can win other things. How can you beat the odds and maybe one year qualify for Europe? I don't want to set aims, because if you put aims out there, you will ask me! But we want to win the next game and we are very ambitious.

…IVAN TONEY

Right now he's a Brentford player. Maybe he's a Brentford player next year. I'd like to keep him. What he's contributed has been extremely important. There are many [club legends] in our history - it's difficult to compare people 50 years ago and now - but I think he's up there with the achievements he's done with the team.

...INJURY REPORT

Callum Wilson will be available for the match. We anticipate he will be fit. We'll see how he is today. I'm not 100% sure.

...ABOUT THE MATCH

We have to do everything we can to do our part. What we don't want to do is for the other teams to make a mistake and we're not there to capitalise on it. We've been finalising the plan. There's a lot of uncertainty over transfers in general, with prices and how much activity there will be. For us, there's a lot that could happen but it's one of those things we'll have to see how it unfolds. It's a big last day for us, there's no denying that. We go into the game knowing we have to do our part, which is win the game. That is no mean feat, it's going to be a tough game, and then we're in the hands of other clubs. The players are determined to finish on a high. We could have got more from the past two games and we didn't.

...END OF THE SEASON

I think we'll look back with a tinge of 'what could have been' in many aspects, whether you're talking the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup, the Champions League, the Premier League. I think we've done OK, I think we've done well - but it could have been so different, it could have been even more memorable, so that will be a frustration that will live with me.
