...ABOUT THE MATCH

We want to create two close games. Tomorrow we have the opportunity to achieve a good result with a home advantage. The goal is to give ourselves a small lead that will improve our situation in Paris. We have to perform at the highest level for 180 minutes to make the big dream of the final come true. First in Dortmund and next week in Paris.

...INJURY REPORT

Ramy Bensebaini and Julien Duranville, who sustained a muscle injury, will definitely miss the first leg. Ian Maatsen and Emre Can return to the squad. Donyell Malen and Sebastien Haller have already partially trained with their colleagues again. Whether they make it into the squad will only be decided after the final training. As of Tuesday we assume that the boys will be available to us.

...PSG

PSG is very flexible and fast and can always adjust its formation during the game. For us, it’s about having our principles and list of priorities: in which areas we want to win the ball, when do we jump out of our positions, where do we support each other. With confidence in our own performance and strength, we come up with a plan develop that is intended to hurt them. If we run at them high and get our tempo into the game, we will be able to create scoring chances against Paris. That is the clear mission. It will be two close games. The good thing about close games is that you can win them.

...THE OBJECTIVE

In the group phase, we failed to win away from home. Since then we have won in San Sebastian and in Barcelona. Tomorrow, this run will continue or stop, but our aim is to win. I know that my team is a brave and courageous team. I think the game will be similar to the quarter-finals. We will be trying to win by playing our football, that there will be goals and it will be entertaining. We will be trying to control the game to try and win it.

...BORUSSIA DORTMUND

We will be playing in a stadium that is unique in Europe and we will be trying to bring as much joy as possible to our fans. I am delighted to be in the situation we find ourselves in today, on the eve of playing a Champions League semi-final.

...VITINHA

I think Vitinha has had a superb season, on par with the very best midfielders in the world. He is a very important player for us. He is very versatile and can play as a number 6, a number 8 or even in a wide role… He is capable of scoring goals and I also feel he has improved defensively.

...TEAM'S PROGRESSION

Since the day I arrived here, I have felt the support of the players and the entire club. We have improved all season and this is only the start of our project. We are still learning and progressing. You mustn’t see pressure as a negative thing. We are getting to the most exciting period of the season. I think we have impressed in every aspect of the game, defence in attack. But we can keep improving. We have to be even more demanding. But there is still everything to do, because the difference between winning and losing in this competition can be the tiniest of details.
