Meeting Highlights…INJURY REPORT
Michael Esser, Mohammed Tolba, Tim Oermann, Patrick Osterhage and Christopher Antwi-Adjei are still out. Manuel Riemann and Erhan Masovic are missing due to suspension. Unfortunately the list has gotten even longer. Niclas Thiede broke a finger during the week. Of course, as a goalkeeper this is not ideal. He had surgery this morning, so he's out. I'm particularly sorry for him because he's had a lot of bad luck this season. Hugo Rölleke from the U19 will move up and complete our goalkeeping team. All other players are ready to play.
…YOUNG GOALKEEPER
We have great talents in the talent pool – Hugo Rölleke, Benjamin Speight and Jeremias Heufken. Hugo does it really well. He's a young guy and obviously doesn't have much experience yet. But that's logical and due to age, it comes with time.
…LEIPZIG
Leipzig has brutal quality. These are all top players. No matter who plays for them, they are all of very high quality. I am happy for Dani Olmo that he is healthy. But that makes the team even stronger. Their eight and ten positions are outstandingly occupied by Olmo and Xavi Simons. They also still have Christoph Baumgartner. They have several variants. All are of high quality.

Coach Thomas Letsch has a clear idea for the game, which he conveyed brilliantly. In the first half of the season they threw their basic idea overboard and did it completely differently. But they quickly found their way back to where they felt comfortable.
…ABOUT MATCH
A very strong home team awaits us tomorrow and will play very aggressively. They have scored points at home in eight games. They will try to put us under pressure in a very man-oriented manner. Games there are always very wild, VfL also scored a few goals in the last quarter of an hour.
