It's important that both centre-backs stay together, but Matthijs de Ligt and Eric Dier don't need the game tomorrow to be ready for Wednesday. It may well be that they play tomorrow or we give Dayot Upamecano and Minjae Kim another chance to stick at it. We have a few options for left back. We can either switch Raphael Guerreiro as a straight swap, but Noussair Mazraoui has also played there for Morocco. I don't know if either of them will be able to play 90 minutes against Köln, but we'll give them both playing time to get them ready for Wednesday. We've got several days between Köln and Arsenal. But there's the consideration to throw in some other players and make some changes. If we make changes, then it's more to give players some match rhythm for Wednesday and not to rest anybody.

...LEROY SANE

It's about how much pain he can tolerate. We geared everything towards him being able to play for Arsenal. He was an important factor there and played a great game. Since he showed a reaction, we're focusing on him on Wednesday. The plan is for him to return on Sunday or Monday. But if he plays, he'll show a reaction in his pubic bone again, which will remain the case for the time being, unfortunately. It's clear what assets and talent the boy has. But we've been waiting for him to score a competitive goal since October. He got off to an outstanding start to the season, but he's slowed down a bit. The expectations before the Arsenal first leg were huge and he delivered. We expect him to keep pushing himself, then he'll be a key player for us.

...INJURY REPORT

I have Manuel Neuer completely on my radar that he can play. Aleksandar Pavlovic will get a few minutes. Leroy Sane has had a reaction, so it'll be tight for tomorrow. "I don't know if there's a reason. But it's been with us all season. We're investigating the cause, but we don't have an answer yet. Serge Gnabry has also suffered another muscle injury, which is a setback for all of us. That was a big factor and it's not stopping. Stress is not the factor, we're used to playing a lot. We have a great physio and medical department with highly qualified people, and everyone is doing their best.

…OPPONENT

FC Bayern is still FC Bayern. It's a team with incredible quality. Things didn't go as expected for them in the league, but they can still win a title in the Champions League. But we want to present ourselves in the best possible way in Munich and will try to win the game.

…INJURY REPORT

We will miss Eric Martel on Saturday. Mark Uth is training with the team again, but will not be an option on Saturday. Davie Selke had surgery and it went well. However, he will probably not return to the pitch this season. Luca Waldschmidt can of course give us a push like he did recently, but there are also other options with Tigges, Adamyan or our fast tips. Faride Alidou and Denis Huseinbasic both have muscular problems, but I am confident that they will go to Munich and play. Jan has all the requirements for the right-back position. He sends good crosses and is also a goal threat. We are giving him the time to develop in this position, but we also know that he can also play in other positions.

…LAST WIN

We had over 20 shots on goal against Bochum, we kept the opponent busy. We believed in ourselves until the end and that is also a quality. The stadium also gave us the final push. This will also be the way in the future. We have to continue to believe in ourselves and hold our hearts in both hands.
