Team Status

It's time to step things up in the Champions League. We're starting at home, in front of our fans, and we're in great form. The aim is to finish our group at the top and be seeded for the knockout phase. But it's not about words, it's about deeds. Last season the team did the playing side of things right but didn't get the results. We need to play well and get results this year.

Royal Antwerp

They are a very dynamic team who won their league last season and they have very good players. Mark van Bommel was a great teammate and goal-scoring player. Now he's doing a great job in Belgium.

Return to Camp Nou

It's great to be back here. Xavi has always welcomed me with open arms. I have great memories of him, not just as a player but as a person. I'm so happy to be here once again.

Barça

Barça will be our toughest opponent. I think Barça is one of the best in the Champions League. They have excellent players in every position. If we are talking about the Champions League, we have to talk about Barça. Xavi's team need to continue on the path they are on and they can eventually win the cup. Everyone watches Barça matches, it is incredible to be able to play against an opponent of this quality, we will do our best.
