Atleti's Squad

We have a squad that I love, we have two players in almost all positions, in addition, we expect Reinildo to rejoin the group shortly. We have a competitive team, very hungry, very enthusiastic, with a lot of players coming to help us, with others coming back to improve. It's enthusiasm and I hope we can show it on the pitch.

Sevilla

We know Sevilla very well. Tough, strong team, they have coaches with a very clear mindset in their game. A team with very vertical play between the starting and final centres, benefiting from the drop in the second line of many teams. They occupy the spaces on the sides very well and this creates numerical superiority to the other side.

It will be a difficult match as we expected in a stadium with a lot of people. As in Granada, we need our supporters and even more. I have no doubt that this is the strength of the team.

Atlético Madrid

We will meet a very good team that plays very well with good players and is in form. They started the season very well but we know we can cause problems for them. They respect us and we are convinced we will play a good game. They will also be informed about us and what we can do.

Historical Bad Start

The data is out there. We didn't get a point for the first time in the first three games, but I don't think that's the biggest concern. We are worried about not performing well in the first two games and playing much better against Girona and not winning. Whenever you can't win, you worry about both the coaching staff and the players, you want to improve and make the right decisions. Worry is normal, but should not be exaggerated.
