Your development is your development. If you’re getting stronger then those things don’t even come into the situation. If you think it’s your golden ticket to endless riches then there’s evidence that it’s not the case. What’s more important is that we have a team that can challenge us next season.
…TO THE SQUAD
But you’ve got to remember, a lot of our group are in their first year of the Premier League. A good chunk of them have been ever-present, we need them to keep improving at the rate they are. We’ve still got a lot of work to do with the squad. I think we’re a long way away from having one or two players away from getting where we want to be.
…ABOUT MATCH
The players they have bought in, really suit the way the manager wants to play. They’ve been hugely impressive, another team that is competitive every game, so you know it’s going to be a tough one. That’s great for us, looking forward to it, it’s a big game, particularly away from home. I thought we were good last week, we were really pleased with our performance in general and hopefully we can build on that.
