I am not surprised. I think he was already a coach when he played. He was a leader, a very intelligent person. He really understood the game well in the locker room and on the field. He speaks several languages and you can tell right away that he will be a top coach. He already had a very strong career. What they did last year was incredible, especially the way they did it. We all have our challenges in the Premier League. We all have our good moments and it makes me really happy to see him do what he does.

When we look back at the games they played and the results they achieved, in some of them they deserved much more than they got. I don't think it truly reflects what they deserve in the games. But that's the challenge of this league. Sometimes when you deserve more, you can't get it because the competitors' quality is too high. But the way they play and the way they continue to play with conviction is remarkable to me.

I was very pleased with the performance, the way we won the game and how much we restricted the opponents to have any chance of getting anything from the game, but there's still a lot to play for, the group is really tight and we still need to do a lot to be where we want to be.

Our perspective never changes. I think the desire to win should become a habit and this dedicated group is giving everything they can for this club. OK, they (Arsenal) have the best players and are the best team but this is a chance to measure ourselves against some of the best and hopefully get a surprise result there.
Team Status
There is no lack of effort in this team and they work hard and do their best every day. I think belief is the most important thing, apart from tactics. We must believe in winning.
Arteta
This is such a complete team, you can see the journey they've been on. They have great technical ability, speed and a solid, strong squad that is well trained. They have built a team that is now one of the best teams in the league and let's not forget how he (Arteta) was judged at the beginning of his time there. There's a project there that's been planned since day one and with (Arteta's) mix of intelligence, passion and resilience, it's worked out well for them. He was extremely passionate, driven and dedicated. He had a huge role behind the scenes for the club and I don't think anyone doubted that he would be a good manager.
